Red Berry Bush

Owasco Lake Outlet

Photo taken during afternoon walk (11.9.09).

"It is a blood-red flower, with the color of sin;
but there is always the scent of a god about it."

Your photo is fantastic. I love the red berries and the way that they pop out at you. But I think my favorite thing in your photo is the way you set up your leading line. The focal point is still the charming tree, but the shore line take your eye through the entire picture. Nicely done!

Beside the water
one tree still holds its red fruit—
will juncos find it?
